There was that contented, sated mate but Gladio's words stirred a purely human emotion in him. It made his heart skip a beat and just like the first time he'd heard Gladio say that he loved him, his stomach flipped over. Even now, after so long, his lover could still have that effect on him.
With a soft, content sigh, Ignis settled in himself, knowing that he'd be tied to Gladio for some time. It was something he'd grown used to and in truth, didn't mind it at all (save that time right before his first shift). It left him feeling cherished and loved and protected even though they both knew that he could handle himself.
"And I love you, my Gladio. Always."
The words were soft, as if he didn't want to disturb the big were if he'd already drifted off.
