Chuckling under his breath, Ignis eased himself up slowly, absently reaching up to run his clawed fingers over the still oozing bite that Gladio had left on his neck. It was almost as if he couldn't quite take his eyes away from his mate, but he figured that was instinct pushing him, especially now.
The stew was close enough to being done that he reluctantly offered it up. He knew food was necessary and damn it, he'd worked hard on their dinner, but he really wanted to do just what Gladio had suggested. Still, food first. They'd need all the energy they could get not only tonight, but for the next few nights as well. One thing he'd learned since his first change was that he was eating more and burning it off just as fast.
